[EN] Teamviewer, TeamViewer Host and TeamViewer Quicksupport

  • When we need to diagnose an issue with your collaboration, we are using Teamviewer as a remote tool. Therefore, we need to have Teamviewer ID to remotely connect to computers/tablets.

Thus, on the computer on which you want to give us an access, please open Teamviewer tool and share with us below information after clicking in “Remote Control” tab.

  • We also use TeamViewer Host on our PC or tablets. In this specific context, we can connect to the device without asking for your TeamViewer ID. Is is necessary that the device has an active internet connection (and not limited to an intranet network).

You might ask what is the difference between “normal” TeamViewer and TeamViewer Host?

TeamViewer Host gets installed on e.g. a Server as a service, and you can connect to it from remote anytime you need. Normal teamviewer full edition connects people by "running" the teamviewer software themselves (having to run them manually each time), or to connect to TeamViewer Host servers.

  • We use TeamViewer Quicksupport for troubleshooting our mobile devices (such as Orca-50 or TSL handhelds). This application is usually already installed on your mobile devices. You should launch TeamViewer Quicksupport on your device and give us your ID so we can remotely connect to your device.
