How to add a route? [EN]

Before creating a route, you have to define a planning.

  1. Click on “Add route” button. A new window is displayed.

  2. Enter the name of the route (mandatory and unique)

  3. The other fields are optional:

    1. Driver name

    2. Vehicle (selected from the list)

    3. Departure Time

    4. Route Tags : useful to group some routes by tag. For example: North route, West route, …

    5. Comment

  4. Click on Save to save data and close the window

Rules

  • A customer belongs to only one route for one delivery day

  • Departure hour is set at Route level

A route (run) is defined by its:

  • Name

  • Delivery day

  • Departure time

  • Sorted list of customers to be delivered (points of delivery)

  • Vehicle (id, maximum weight, maximum number of trolleys)

  • Driver name

  • Comments

A route is included in a planning
