Advanced encoding (trolley tags)

Advanced encoding should be used on our SRU or TTS devices. Advanced encoding can encode 1 trolley tag at a time.

We strongly advise to not use it with the cabins (uDoor or uDoor Lite) as they have been designed to read and/or encode larger quantites of linen.

Steps:

  1. Go to your Home Page and select Advanced encoding plugin (in below case, trolley encoding)

Trolley tag encoding

2. The EPC of the trolley tag will be displayed. If not, please press READ in the upper right corner of the HMI page.

READ button

3. Enter the correct configuration by using the button Configure at the top right of the page (the Company prefix must be correctly filled in). Then, Validate.

4. The serial number has 10 digits. We advise you to enter the value 0 (zeros) until you reach the limit of the Serial Number field and then e.g. erase the last 4 zeros and enter the number of your trolley. In our below case, the trolley number will be 5421. Depending on the number of your trolley tag, you can delete 5, 6 zeros (you are not limited) and you will have e.g. the following serial number:

Examples:

0000012345 - the trolley tag will be detected as cage 12 345
0000213456 - the trolley tag will be detected as cage 213 456

Enter the serial number and then click on Encode

5. The following message should appear.

6. In order to check if the trolley tag encoding has indeed been successful, you can do an observing (simple reading) on your device: Cage 5421 is displayed on the screen in my example.
