RF locked on Invengo L400 and L40 Reader
in particular conditions, you can experience that your reader does not emit anymore (RF LED is turned off).
 Â
Â
This behaviour can be due to a very high detuning.
Without specific measuring tool, you can do a quick check of the antenna status and see what is the influence of the environment by using Invengo Explorer software.
Open Invengo Explorer
Connect to the reader (You can found help in Knowledgebase with the topic http://kb.invengo-tcas.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=14
Select the channel where the antenna is connect (do not select an excessive output power) and have a look at the tunning status, and the environment noise.
You can see on this exemple the antenna status "green" OK, and below a low noise level of the environement. (good status)
Invengo Explorer gives four different tunnig status:
OK (Green) --> Perfect status
Low detunning (Orange)Â --> not an important detunnig
High detunning (Orange) --> check the position of your antenna, move it if possible and necessary and check the support. In some cases, tune the antenna is needed.Â
Failure (Red) --> In this case the reader is in  security mode and RF is turned  off. Do the same check than before.If even after moving the antenna, the tuning status is failure, call Invengo for an hardware return.
