Context

Currently, drivers don’t have tools to use during their delivery runs

Solution

Provide the list of the sites to be delivered, chronologically sorted.

Routes will be also added in the other webportals : administration, customer, dispatch

How to display customers

Customers are displayed if:

  • They are active

  • They have delivery days in Acuity Webadmin (commissioning)


Management rules

  • A planning can have several versions (off-peak season, peak season)

  • A customer belongs to only one route for one delivery day

  • Departure hour is set at Route level

  • In Acuity Delivery, routes are displayed only if the planning is in a valid period of time.


Routes objects

- A route (run) is defined by its:

  • Name

  • Delivery day

  • Departure time

  • Sorted list of customers to be delivered (points of delivery)

  • Vehicle (id, maximum weight, maximum number of trolleys)

  • Driver name

  • Comments

- A route is included in a planning

- A planning is defined by its :

  • Name

  • Start date and end date
